About this course
5-Week Women’s Beginner Aikido Course
Starting Monday 14 September 2026
Curious about self-defence but not sure where to start? This welcoming, women-only Aikido course is designed especially for beginners — no experience needed.
Over five weeks, you’ll learn simple, effective techniques that focus on balance, awareness and staying calm under pressure. Aikido is a non-aggressive martial art that helps you learn to protect yourself without relying on strength or force.
This course is for you if you:
- Want to feel safer and more confident in everyday situations
- Are looking for a gentle, supportive introduction to martial arts
- Feel unsure or intimidated by mixed classes
- Want to improve your coordination, posture and body awareness
Each session is taught in a relaxed, encouraging environment where you can learn at your own pace, ask questions and build confidence week by week.
What happens after?
By the end of the course, you’ll have a solid foundation in Aikido. From there, you can continue with the women’s class or join the regular class — whatever feels right for you.
Spaces are limited to keep the group comfortable and personal.
