Weekly Bulletin 22nd October 2018
Hello Everyone
I hope everyone is well. This 26th October on Thursday will be the last Aikido class for just over a week till the 5th November on Monday, as bunch of us will be flying off to Japan for our first Shoshinkan Dojo trip. Hopefully we can bring back some amazing experiences back from Japan to share with you, and we will keep you updated on facebook with our trip. (Please also note : This means that there will be no weekly bulletin next week, as we will be in Japan. )
If you don’t want to miss a junior class this week, there is a newly started junior class at the Nottingham dojo in Sneinton on Wednesday at 6pm with Sensei Rowan. I hope to see lots of your there.
Here is what is coming up this week.
CANCELLATION OF CLASS
The following dates of classes are cancelled due to all our staff going to Japan for a week long trip. All the classes will recommence on Monday 5th November.

NEW JUNIOR CLASS ON WEDNESDAYS
We have new junior class on Wednesdays at the Nottingham Dojo. This is open to all juniors of all levels. This class is going to be taught by sensei Rowan and he is looking to bring some new and exciting vibe. If you are interested please let us know and please support sensei Rowan with his new adventure.
The class will be from 6:00pm – 7:00pm @ Nottingham Dojo ( Sneinton Hermitage Community Centre )
NEW CADET CLASSES (Adults/Cadets classes)
– Tuesday : 7.30pm – 8.30pm @ Dunkirk Dojo ( Dunkirk Community Centre)
– Saturday : 12:00pm – 1:00pm @ Lenton Dojo ( Dunkirk Community Centre)
This class will also open for all the juniors who are 11 years and above OR juniors who have attained the “Purple Belt” in junior class. Who will be moving on to the newly introduced Cadet classes. The aim of this level is to close the gap between the junior and adult class but the cadettes are training with the people of their own physical ability, focusing on more strict and dynamic syllabus. There will be more details on the belts and details of the Cadet syllabus at later date but at this time it will provide a tough training that will strengthen the student physically and will expose them to an adult class environment with other adult students in attendance.
(IMPORTANT NOTICE : Please make sure you check if you are eligible with sensei Tad before coming)
FLYERS AND LEAFLETS
We are currently promoting our club with some flyers and leaflets, if you a notice board on the work place, or if you wouldn’t mind taking some flyers to give out please ask us for some. We have some great flyers designed by our amazing illustrator Lucy.
JUNIOR BADGE TEST IN OCTOBER
The junior badge test is coming back. Sorry we decided to stop this in September. There will be badge test every week so everyone can master their skills of their choice. But don’t forget its not an easy task, so make sure yo all practice your skills at home.
